Hotel Strandvogtei

Capturing the Baltic Breeze

Sometimes, you don't need weeks of production to capture the soul of a place. For the "Hotel Strandvogtei," the goal was clear: create an image film that makes the raw, beautiful emotion and the distinct, calming feeling of the Baltic Sea coast completely palpable to the viewer. It’s about the scent of the sea, the wind, and the welcoming warmth of the hotel.

The Execution: Hotel operations rarely allow for long, disruptive film shoots. We were tasked with a very tight production window, which required maximum agility and focus on set. By knowing exactly which shots would evoke the right mood, we worked incredibly fast and unobtrusively, ensuring the guests' experience remained undisturbed. In post-production, Caro’s intuitive, feeling-driven editing and a carefully crafted sound design amplified the coastal atmosphere, turning a highly efficient shoot into a emotional visual experience.
