Stories of the Alps

The Austrian Alpine Club (ÖAV) is more than just an organization; it is a community built on shared values and unique benefits. To highlight these "soft skills", we conceptualized and produced a multi-channel campaign driven by the members themselves. It began with an Instagram call-to-action, inviting the community to share their personal stories. From the numerous entries, the most authentic and engaging narratives were selected to be brought to life on screen.

"Serious About Saving” is one of these highlights. The film playfully focuses on the financial advantages of being a member—proving that mountain passion and smart saving can go hand in hand. To give the story a unique character, we decided on a nostalgic aesthetic, portraying alpinism as it was 45 years ago.

The Execution: This production was a masterclass in creative problem-solving and styling. Recreating the world of 1970s alpinism required meticulous attention to detail, from sourcing vintage props and authentic costumes to the technical challenge of icing up an old VW Beetle in the middle of summer. Despite a very tight filming schedule, we delivered a high-impact campaign optimized for a cross-platform rollout on YouTube and Instagram. The result is a charming, multi-generational piece of storytelling that perfectly balances humor, nostalgia, and brand benefits.
