A Day on the Slopes

For Tirol Werbung (the Tyrol Tourist Board), we spent a day on the slopes with a local instructor to capture the authentic spirit of an alpine winter. It is a tribute to the joy of gliding through the snow and the unique lifestyle found in the Tyrolean mountains.

Rather than a high-adrenaline action clip, this film invites viewers to simply come along for the ride. We focused on the smooth turns, the crisp mountain air, and the relaxed, genuine atmosphere of a perfect skiing day. It’s about experiencing the slopes naturally, right alongside someone who calls them home.

The Execution: Filming directly on the slopes required a highly mobile setup and a intuition for the alpine environment. We moved in sync with the instructor to capture the motion naturally and without disruption. In post-production, the edit and audio mix were carefully balanced to reflect the rhythmic flow of the descent, creating an inviting, immersive experience that lets the beauty of the destination speak for itself.
