The Angelika SchOEnauer Portrait

Dirty Shoes & Deep Tunnels

Employer branding thrives on authenticity. For the construction group PORR, we created a portrait of construction manager Angelika Schönauer. In an industry often dominated by hard facts, this film reveals the human side and the passion behind a mega-project like the Brenner Base Tunnel.

The Execution: To capture Angelika’s real working world, we chose a direct, documentary-style approach. Time is an extremely scarce resource on an active major construction site like the H53 lot. We worked with an agile team to accompany Angelika in her natural environment—ranging from technical briefings to inspections deep inside the tunnel.

In post-production, the focus was on highlighting Angelika’s calm professionalism and determination. Through a clean, rhythmic edit and atmospheric sound design that makes the industrial backdrop of the tunnel palpable, an inspiring portrait emerged. It showcases not just a job, but a calling, and sends a powerful message for women in engineering.
